About Us
Murdoch Butchers was established 1916 and more than 100 years on we're still going strong! Our dedicated team maintains the standards and reputation of the award-winning meat products and pies we produce.
Our products are available across the North of Scotland from supermarkets and convenience stores to hospitality and retail venues including the House of Bruar and Store House at Foulis. We also send produce all over the UK via our online shop.

Bakery Production Cook

We're looking for a cheerful and motivated team-player bakery manufacturing team for batch cooking and preparation of pie fillings, ready meals and other foods. We have a tight team who get involved in all aspects of production to packaging and dispatch, so must be willing to muck in!
Early starts (6am) but we're usually away by 3pm (ish) on a busy day, and weekends off!

Join our team as a junior to learn the ropes for a career in commercial food production, catering and processing. Would suit a school leaver, with additional opportunities for qualifications and/or apprenticeship.

We're looking for two early-birds (6am starts) to join our team. We start early here at Murdoch's to ensure our customers across Scotland and the UK get the freshest produce.
Production Cook Part-time (25 - 30 Hours)
We are looking for a production cook to join our established bakery team with experience in commercial batch cooking, preparing fillings for our award-winning pies, our famous coleslaw and other ready-to-eat products.
Must have a good understanding of food safety principles and cooking/cooling procedures.

Butchery Manufacturer Full-time (38 - 45 Hours)
We are looking for a butchery manufacturer to join our growing butchery team to focus on the production of our award-winning range of sausages, burgers, savoury puddings (haggis, black, white) and pie fillings for our award-winning pies.
There is lifting involved in the role so must be physically fit enough to lift mixes into machines.
